Chapter 6
Analytics & Business Insights
noryX consolidates data from Shopify, GA4, and GSC into a set of analytics pages that surface what is working, what needs attention, and what to do next.
On this page
1. Business Insights
The Business Insights page is your store's KPI dashboard. It provides a top-level view of your business health at a glance, drawing from both your Shopify data and connected Google integrations.
Key metrics surfaced on this page include:
- Total revenue, orders, and average order value over selectable time periods
- Top-selling products and collections
- Customer acquisition and retention signals
- Store-wide conversion rate
- Inventory health summary (in-stock rate, stockout count)
Use Business Insights for your weekly or monthly store reviews. The date range selector lets you compare any period against a prior equivalent period for trend context.
2. Brand Performance
The Brand Performance page goes deeper than sales figures — it measures how your brand is performing in terms of organic visibility, audience engagement, and search authority. This page requires both GA4 and GSC to be connected for full data.
From GA4
- Organic vs paid session breakdown
- New vs returning visitor ratio
- Engagement rate by channel
- Product page performance (views, add-to-cart, purchase)
From GSC
- Total search impressions and clicks
- Average ranking position (overall and by product)
- Top performing queries driving traffic
- Pages with the highest click-through rates
3. Dynamic Stats Board
The Dynamic Stats Board (DStatsBoard) is noryX's primary AI analytics surface. It continuously analyses your store data and surfaces structured insights — each with a category, priority, supporting evidence, and recommended action.
What the DStatsBoard contains
Insights summary
A snapshot of current AI-generated insights for a given date, grouped by category and priority. Access via the Insights Summary view for any date.
Issue tracking
Detailed drill-down into a specific detected issue — what the problem is, when it started, which SKUs are affected, and the recommended corrective action.
Trend view
A visual timeline of a specific metric or SKU's performance over time, with AI-identified inflection points annotated.
Improvements
A date-scoped list of improvement opportunities identified by the AI — covering inventory, SEO, conversion, and marketing.
Marketing KPIs
A marketing-specific metrics view showing campaign performance signals and promotional impact on organic and paid channels.
Insight priority tiers
Requires attention within 24 hours (e.g. a top SKU approaching stockout).
Significant opportunity or risk within the next 7 days.
Worthwhile actions to take this week.
Background optimisations that compound over time.
4. Potential Issues
The Potential Issues page surfaces problems that noryX has detected across your store before they become critical. Issues are detected automatically by comparing current data against historical patterns and configured thresholds.
Common issue categories detected by noryX:
- Products approaching stockout based on current sell-through rate
- Dead-stock candidates — SKUs that have not sold within a configurable window
- Product pages with declining search rankings
- Products with high traffic but low conversion rates
- Integration data gaps (missing GA4 or GSC data for specific pages)
Each issue includes a description, affected SKUs or pages, and a suggested action. You can resolve, dismiss, or escalate issues directly from this page.
5. Improvements
The Improvements page presents proactive recommendations from noryX's AI engine — things you can do to grow your store, not just problems to fix. Recommendations are ranked by estimated revenue impact.
Improvement categories include:
- SEO opportunities — products with high search impression volume but low ranking positions
- Conversion improvements — product pages where UX or content changes are likely to lift add-to-cart rates
- Inventory optimisation — restock recommendations, bundle suggestions, markdown candidates
- Marketing — products that are trending and suitable for promotional amplification
6. Operations Analysis
The Operations Analysis page provides analytics specifically focused on your inventory operations — movement patterns, order fulfilment rates, stock adjustment history, and supply chain performance signals.
This page is most useful for merchants with high-volume catalogs or complex fulfilment workflows who need visibility into operational efficiency beyond standard sales metrics.
