Chapter 3

Connecting Your Integrations

Shopify is connected automatically at install. To unlock noryX's full AI capabilities — including SEO insights, brand performance tracking, and search-grounded content — connect Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console from the Integrations page.

1. Google Analytics 4

Connecting GA4 gives noryX access to your store's behavioural data — sessions, conversion rates, product page engagement, add-to-cart rates, and revenue attribution. This data powers brand performance analytics, conversion insights, and campaign recommendations.

How to connect

  1. 1

From your noryX dashboard, open the navigation menu in the top bar and select Integrations.

  2. 2

Find the Google Analytics 4 card and click Connect.

  3. 3

You are redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen. Sign in with the Google account that owns your GA4 property.

  4. 4

Grant noryX read access to your Google Analytics data and click Allow.

  5. 5

You are returned to the noryX Integrations page. Select the GA4 property associated with your Shopify store from the dropdown.

  6. 6

Click Save. noryX begins its first data sync immediately.

What noryX imports from GA4

  • Sessions, users, and engagement metrics
  • Product detail page views and add-to-cart events
  • Purchase conversion rates by product
  • Acquisition channel breakdown (organic, paid, social, email)
  • Revenue and average order value trends

Data syncs daily. noryX cross-references GA4 data with your Shopify catalog to surface conversion insights and prioritise which products need SEO or content attention first.

2. Google Search Console

Connecting GSC gives noryX visibility into how your store performs in Google Search — the queries people use to find your products, which pages rank, and where you are losing organic traffic. This data directly powers Product SEO suggestions and Shop SEO optimisation.

How to connect

  1. 1

From the Integrations page, find the Google Search Console card and click Connect.

  2. 2

Sign in with the Google account that has access to your GSC property.

  3. 3

Grant noryX read access and click Allow.

  4. 4

Select the GSC property that matches your Shopify store's domain from the dropdown. If your store uses a custom domain, select the property for that domain — not the myshopify.com subdomain.

  5. 5

Click Save. noryX imports up to 16 months of historical search performance data on the first sync.

What noryX imports from GSC

  • Search queries driving impressions and clicks to each product page
  • Average ranking position by query and URL
  • Click-through rate (CTR) by page
  • Pages with declining rankings or lost impressions
  • Keyword gap opportunities

GSC data is the primary input for AI SEO content generation. noryX uses the queries your customers are already typing to write titles, descriptions, and meta tags that match real search intent.

3. Integration Status

Each integration on the Integrations page displays one of three status states:

Not connected

The integration has not been set up. noryX is operating without data from this source.

Connected — not configured

OAuth authorisation was completed but a property has not been selected yet. Return to the Integrations page to select the correct GA4 or GSC property and click Save.

Fully configured

The integration is active and data is syncing. The last sync timestamp is shown on the integration card.

The AI stats panel in your dashboard header also shows a live integration health summary. If an integration token expires, noryX will prompt you to re-authorise from the Integrations page — no data is lost during a re-authorisation.
