Chapter 7

AI-Powered SEO

noryX generates SEO-optimised content for every product, image, and page in your store — informed by the actual search queries your customers use, sourced directly from Google Search Console.

1. Product SEO

The Product SEO page displays AI-generated SEO suggestions for every product in your catalog. For each product, noryX analyses your GSC search query data, GA4 product page performance, and the product's current content to generate optimised replacements.

What noryX generates per product

Product titleKeyword-optimised title matching search intent while preserving brand clarity.
Product descriptionConversion-focused body copy with relevant keywords naturally integrated.
SEO title (meta title)A distinct, search-optimised title for the <title> tag — often different from the product title.
SEO description (meta description)A compelling meta description targeting the highest-intent query for this product.
Image alt textDescriptive, keyword-relevant alt text for every product image.

Before and after comparison

Each suggestion displays a side-by-side view of the current content and the AI-generated replacement. This lets you evaluate the change before applying it. You can edit the suggestion inline before applying if you want to adjust the AI output.

2. Media SEO

The Media SEO page focuses specifically on image optimisation. Image alt text is both an accessibility requirement and a meaningful SEO signal — noryX generates descriptive, keyword-grounded alt text for every product image in your catalog.

Media SEO operates independently from Product SEO. This means you can run image alt text optimisation across your entire catalog without touching product titles or descriptions, and vice versa.

For stores with large image libraries, Media SEO supports bulk operations — you can review a sample, approve the pattern, and apply to the full catalog in one action.

3. Shop SEO

The Shop SEO page handles store-level SEO configuration — the elements that apply to your store as a whole rather than to individual products.

This includes:

  • Homepage SEO title and meta description
  • Collection page titles, descriptions, and meta tags
  • Store-level structured data (JSON-LD) recommendations
  • Navigation and URL structure recommendations

Shop SEO suggestions are generated based on your GSC performance data for non-product pages and noryX's analysis of your site structure.

4. Auto-Apply

noryX supports two operating modes for SEO: manual review (default) and auto-apply. Auto-apply can be enabled separately for product SEO content and media SEO (image alt text).

Product SEO Auto-Apply

When enabled, noryX automatically writes AI-generated titles, descriptions, and meta tags to your Shopify products as they are generated — no review required.

Toggle from: Product SEO → Settings → Auto-Apply

Media SEO Auto-Apply

When enabled, noryX automatically applies AI-generated alt text to product images as they are processed.

Toggle from: Media SEO → Settings → Auto-Apply

Before enabling auto-apply

We recommend reviewing at least 20–30 AI-generated suggestions manually first to confirm the output quality meets your standards for your specific catalog. You can disable auto-apply at any time and revert to manual review mode.

5. Manual Review Workflow

In manual review mode (the default), all AI-generated SEO suggestions wait in a review queue before being applied to your Shopify store. This gives you full control over every change.

Review workflow

  1. 1

Open the Product SEO or Media SEO page. Pending suggestions are shown in the review queue.

  2. 2

Click a suggestion to expand the before/after comparison. Edit the AI output inline if needed.

  3. 3

Click Apply to write the change to your Shopify store, or Dismiss to discard it.

  4. 4

Use Bulk Apply to apply all suggestions in a filtered set at once — for example, all suggestions for a specific collection.

Applied changes are written directly to your Shopify product records. All changes are logged in noryX with a timestamp and the before/after values — you can review the change history from the Product SEO settings.
